ITT : a scene that unintentionally gave you the hardest laugh in the cinema
That bolder scene in Legend of Aang
>MARTHAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>67802484
What the fuck...
>I'm friends of your son
>i figured , the cape
totally perfect joke to lighten the mood of a dramatic scene right after she was almost burned alive and a 10 minute fight scene with like 20 death people
>>67802484
Holy shit Jackson.
Surfing on an orc shield and taking down a elephant was one thing but this is a whole new level of shit.
>>67802631
>implying they don't know EXACTLY what they're doing when they make these movies
they're supposed to be ridiculous.
Gave out a pretty loud "HA!" when this came on.
The scene in Pacific Rim with the little asian girl moaning
>>67802631
This was the first thing that came to mind. When I saw this at the theater I got "shhhhh"ed for laughing
>>67802696
That's way worse than just pure ignorance though.
>>67802484
BOOYAKA BOOYAKA
6 1 9
>>67802484
the whole cinema just gave an exasperated sound when that happened at my viewing
This whole thing. I honestly can't tell if it's supposed to be a joke or not.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzNx-QmRihM
>>67802484
I fucking almost died laughing during the Batman fight in BvS.
That fucking guy with the hand grenade.
Jackson honestly went full retard in that last Hobbit movie. There's so many stupid fucking scenes.
>>67802861
It has to be. He's the "merc with a mouth" and they literally removed his mouth. On some level, they must have thought they were being clever.
>>67802664
When you consider an elf can walk on top of snow without leaving footsteps, it almost makes sense.
Scene where Tom Cruise is run over by the truck in days of tomorrow.
I was in tears when it happened. Still chuckle hard core when I rewatched it
>>67803717
That is supposed to be funny, you fucking idiot
>>67802782
what fucking buzzkills I would of been laughing with you.
>>67803931
Where in the OP does it say anything but the intention of the film makers?
>>67802664
At the end he does the same flip that he used to mount a horse in LOTR, that everyone thought was silly then.
I dont get it, how was this the same man who made the LotR trilogy? Did he get knocked in the head between them or what? I've never seen such a fall from grace so quickly, with no fucking reason for it
>>67802611
Yeah but Iron Man 3 was also like this
>The love of my life has just fallen to her death
>Perfect time for hilarious Iron suit pratfall
>IT'S WHAAAAAALES!!!
>>67804673
Nothing about the iron man movies is serious though
>>67802484
>Reminder that this film was 46mil shy of a billion
>>67802484
>dat hurricanrana
>>67802965
It's one massive fight that just doesn't stop and the film is almost 3 hours long. Bard fighting Smaug was good but the rest of the movie is pure trash
>>67802611
Literally the only joke in the movie and it's so inappropriately placed.
>>67802732
this, thanks /pol/
>>67804647
>ITT : a scene that unintentionally gave you the hardest laugh in the cinema

Ridiculous scene on the side, but from scientific point, he would actually kill her with this rescue scheme.
M1A1: Road 45 mph (72 km/h)
Im not a car faggot but lets say:
Gran Torino Fantasy Car Custom 2:Road :~120mph(144km/h)
Anyways, speed and trajectory would squish them, they would go a little further in Vin Diesel's direction but then they would bounce and fall down in a strait line as 2 messy minced meat products.
every moment with lex in bvs
>>67802484
The scene in Avatar when Neyteri's father got dead.
>WAKEY WAKEY!
Top Zozzle Cameron
Me and the whole audience genuinely lost it at this point.
>>67805479
I think that was intentional
>>67805492
Yeah I overlooked the unintentional part...
>>67805479
>>67804647
Reading comprehension on par with 2nd graders.
Furious 7 is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen and the experience was only made worse by the fact that I was the only one in the theatre laughing my ass off.
>>67805004
it's this kind of post that makes me love and hate this fucking place at the same time
I don't have the webm, so somebody please provide, but the scene in Avengers 2 with the robot torsos or whatever making the truck fly. I mean what the fuck, I was at a fucking DRIVE IN and I STILL heard people laughing in their own cars.
>>67805004
Those speeds are so wrong, diesel is definitely under 60 mph
Those vehicles aren't an M1 or gran turino
He doesn't hit her, he clearly grabs her in the air, he wouldn't bounce off.
>>67805004
calm down Neill Degrasse tyson.
>Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
The meeting room scene. Colin Firth's character is wearing the same outfit as Brick Tamland and I started mentally substituting Firth's lines with Brick's.
For such a pivotal character, and a shot that was a major part of the trailer, the abruptness and futility of this shit made me burst.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AT-q5Gewv9k
the "do you bleed" scene from BvS had me laughing so hard. the entire cinema was quiet as hell
NOOOOO
>>67806297
That was kino. You don't understand
>>67805479
>I didn't get a chance to tell you earlier
>because I died
>>67806088
Easily his best role. Underrated movie
>>67802861
Ah yes, that scene. I enjoyed the almost point-blank Cyclops blast into his chest that failed to do anything to this clothes.
this fucking scene.
more specifically, the face of Jack Nicholson in this scene.
>>67802631
The plane chase scene in this film was even worse tbqfhfam
some scene in Eragon where he's teaching a dragon how to fly or some shit. i dont remember exactly what, but i remember it being so cheesy
>>67806297
I cringed actually
"MARTHA IS HIS MOTHER" from Lois made me laugh
>>67807141
Wow
This shit, right here.
Cracks me up.
Every.
Single.
Time.
>>67808171
His walk out is what gets me. Looks like a 7 foot baby penguin
>>67802782
Top keks.
I would've stood up and quoted (pic related*), before getting my refund.
>>67805479
The Lego Movie was so fucking based. It had no right being as good as it was.
>>67802973
It's one of the shit showrunners for GoT so I think they were 100% serious and thought it would be edgy
>>67808595
Here's to hoping Lego batman doesn't disappoint. I'm a bit worried with no Chris miller or Lord though
>>67809003It can't be worse than BvS at least
>>67802732
>>67804811
>samefag
Please kill yourself?
King Kong 2005
>that part he fights a T-Rex and rips it's jaws apart
I don't know if that would be possible or whatever but me and my friend burst out laughing, like was that really necessary?
>>67802631
>/tv/ thinks this is not supposed to be funny
The court case in BvS was the funniest scene in cinema of the 21st century
>>67809259
The assumption comes from the same logic as killing a croc this way, which does work.
Also, it's an homage to the original B/W KK where the same happened in stop motion.
>>67809259
It was fucking awesome dude. It was necessary because it killed the T Rex.
>>67802611
>quicksilver dies
>literally 3 seconds after Ultron quips
Jesus Christ
>>67802484
Scene from Batman v Superman where Aquaman is bothered while taking a shit in a sunken ship or something
>>67809706
Someone post the webm of that scene.
>>67802973
>>67802973
Nope. The villain was originally a completely different character, but then one of the producers found out that Deadpool was popular so they changed it at the last minute with CGI and reshoots.
After the horrible audience reaction durring test screenings, they then added the after credits scene as a pathetic attempt to pacify the fans, as it was too late to undo what they'd done.
This is all according to Ryan Renyolds in interviews he gave leading up to Deadpools release.
This all happened during the writers strike, so at least they have an excuse.
Quicksilver's death in Age of Ultron. It wasn't so much just him dying as it was my friend leaning over and sayingoh no, they killed the flashthat did it. Honestly that movie was pretty laughable anyway.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTn64Bizu2I
NO!
I also laughed when it was the first thing he said in DOTPOTA
>>67809979
I hope you high fived your friend, he deserved it.
I laughed uncontrollably in the theater when gary oldman blew himself up in dawn of the planet of the apes. Top 5 worst movies ive ever seen all the way through.
>>67810052
We were both laughing loudly while getting shushed by the rest of the theater. I think a high-five would've been a step too far down the path of the douche.
>>67810059
Blew himself up AND his men, like what the fuck man, they didn't even get a chance.
>>67809979
>oh no, they killed the flash
Partway through this scene I started giggling like a madman. It was a crowded cinema and I was genuinely embarrassed, but I just couldn't stop.
It didn't help when my brother joined in. We got a lot of disapproving stares as we left.
I just don't get how they thought that scene was a good idea. I suppose in concept it was a powerful moment, but in execution it was paced so fucking awkwardly. Just thinking about it puts a smile on my face.
The Force Awakens opens with such an amazing shot of that silhouetted Star Destroyer slowly eclipsing the planet. I can't believe it can start so strongly and then end on this goddamn scene.
A 10/10 shot to complete schlock.
>>67810288
Right? The fucking helicopter orbital is such a joke

not powerful at all, although im sure the nerds who got offended thought it was some crazy awesome scene
>>67810288
>What the FUCK are you doing here
>>67807141
>not the dildo scene
>>67802484
the floaty hurricanrana is even worse than the super-mario sequence.
>>67802484
That scene where Blue or whatever the fuck that raptor's name was before it got blown up in Jurassic World. I was only one that chuckled like an edgy sperglord
>>67802484
it was a movie about a kid whose father worked at a nazi camp, and so his family lived near by. the kid made a friend with a child who was inside the prison camp. so the kid tunnels into the camp and disguises himself as a prisoner. right then they are herding the prisoners into a gas chamber and he gets swept in with them and gets gassed. it was all just so forced i was laughing out loud.
another example is a movie like the day after tomorrow. there are tons of movies made in the same manner with the same type of dialog and the same exact tropes. i will just laugh out loud they are so cliche and horrible
>>67802484
>tfw when Kung Fu Panda did this scene better than they did
>>67808470
Carl doesn't watch "movies", he strictly and religiously watches 4 hours of cuckold porn a day on a 70 inch 4k display at full volume which has been altered in Maya to replace the white male actors face with his own.
>>67810415
>>67806088
just needs some epic music that gets a comedic sudden stop with a "old record player gets turned off" sound effect.
>>67810572
boy in the striped pajamas?
>>67810572
>it was a movie about a kid whose father worked at a nazi camp, and so his family lived near by. the kid made a friend with a child who was inside the prison camp. so the kid tunnels into the camp and disguises himself as a prisoner. right then they are herding the prisoners into a gas chamber and he gets swept in with them and gets gassed. it was all just so forced i was laughing out loud.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, i'll admit this did make me laugh too. It was just so damn convenient.
>>67810415
>It wasn't a silhouette you retard
Yes it was, mate.
This is the shot I'm referring to, just in case you thought I was talking about something else.
For all of TFA's flaws, this really was a great shot to open the film on.
>>67810639
>>67810631
a girl i was orbitting years ago told me to watch it cause it was suh sad
glad i never did. shes married now and fat. the end.
>>67809259
Watch the '30s movie, pleb.
Although I did laugh at the part with Kong moving that dead TRex's mouth like a puppet.
Optimus Prime just straight up fucking murdering Kelsey Grammer with a giant robot gun in Transformers 4 got a solid guffaw from me.
The rapid succession double whammy of Knightmare + Flash's message from BvS broke me.
>>67802631
Those movies are pretty much superhero movies. They are supposed to have nearly non-existant plot, plenty of quips and over-the-top action scenes like this one.
>>67810563
Because you are an edgy sperglord
that movie is pure kino you faggot
>>67807321
this
saw it with my little sister and i didn't want to spoil it for her by telling her how shit the entire movie was but when i saw that i just started laughing and had to tell her it was a joke someone told me
>>67810059
jesus christ this fucking movie. I saw it twice with the sound off on a flight from bejing to hong kong and back again. Goddamn inflight movies, they will forever be ruined.
>>67810887
That's what I said nigger. You actually took that dinosaur flick seriously. I bet you enjoy capeshit too
>you're a big guy
>for you
>>67811035
I can't watch that movie anymore without giggling when that scene comes up. Goddammit /tv/.
>>67811073
And this scene isn't the worst one from the whole thing. There are like six other scenes that are ever worse.
The piss jar in BvS. Thought it was just meant to be a funny little quip and was the only one snickering to myself in the theater. Thenthe wheelchair guy explodedand I felt like a jackass.
>>67811153
It is supposed to be funny. The explosion is supposed to take you off guard because you were distracted by laughing at the piss jar.
the end of Terminator 2 I just laugh my dick off at this.
who the fuck is under the steel, the Fonz?
>>67806297
That scene was pure gold.
>>67811035
came here to post his
>>67811287
oh fuck you it was established that he started to understand human emotion and this was him showing he didnt want John to feel sad.
>>67811073
>when that scene comes up
It's literally the first scene of the god damn movie
That one scene in Avengers where Hulk starts throwing Loki around.
Not because it was funny but because it helped me realize the movie was just a giant quipfest and people will eat it up anyway.
The raptor getting hit with the bazooka in JW
one loud HA in the middle of the theater i was dying
>>67811073
Baneposting hasn't just made the Plane scene funny, it's managed to infect altogether different movies for me.

>>67802973
>>67809933
You're all idiots, you just don't realize that its a deconstruction of the superhero genre.
By reversing the tropes of the typical superhero movie and removing the merc's mouth it just goes to highlight its emptiness.
Truly kino the likes of which we will never see again, besides BvS of course.
>>67804672

>>67802484
It's shit like this that made me decide to never finish the hobbit movies. The tone you get from the book is comfy adventure for treasure, with some tension and action here and there. And then you have the movies, of which the entire point is to constantly rival epic battles from lotr. They're more worried about Legolas doing tricks and an epic final battle than actually sticking to the tone of the books.
