Thoughts /tv/?
Just watched it, was a 7/10. Good concept, shitty actor.
one of the best films of 2014
I get that he had to use non-professional actors for the role of the children but goddamn were they awful. and the last scene was painfully awkward, like an outsider's interpretation of what the average college experience is like, or maybe it was just the shitty acting that made me think that
I WANNA TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD BOYHOOD IS

>like an outsider's interpretation
That's what the entire movie felt like

It was an enjoyable slice of life

thats the point
he knows you're watching him grow up
Nowhere near as good as other Linklater movies.
I don't think anybody would've given a shit about it if it wasn't for the 12 years gimmick.

Did you know it took ten years to make?
Only reason I'd watch desu
for the life of me i dont understand why this is hated here. is it the greatest? obviously not. but strong feels were felt. e.g. dinner table scene. also: "i thought there would be more." also: etc.

Because /v/ doesn't like films like this
only post apoc movies and action/thriller shit with the depth of a young adult novel
