Then you need to rewatch it, because she tricks him once, early in the movie, hates doing it but has no choice as Hades has her soul, and later she is tricked by Hades into revealing Hercules's weakness. Throughout the movie she tries to keep away from Hercules after she realizes how she, and he, feel about each other in order to keep him from getting hurt, when Hades tricks Hercules into giving up his strength Meg keeps trying to tell Hercules not to do so, and then she lets herself die so that Hercules can regain his strength.
Phil chews her out for betraying them and she admits it and says that doesn't matter because all that matters is Hercules staying alive.
Meg's entire character is the jaded, betrayed misanthrope learning to care about someone again. She hides that behind sarcasm but seriously, you need to rewatch the movie if all you can remember is her initial, enslaved character instead of what she becomes.
