ITT: Favorite film scenes
Blade Runner is my favorite film, and this may be my favorite scene. I think it really sums up the movie well. How Zhora is running and just trying to keep going, she has that human instinct to survive and not give up. Also GOAT song.
she's running from the blade

Total Recall is my favorite film, and this may be my favorite scene. I think it really sums up the movie well. How a midget prostitute is shooting an uzi and just trying to murder as many motherfuckers as possible, she has that midget prostitute with an uzi instinct to murder motherfuckers and not give up. Also GOAT midget with an uzi.

It's as if she is running on a knife edge but Deckard just keeps hanging on, someone should make that into a movie poster.

why do i call sharon stone in this film mommy?
I just finished watching Blade Runner , the theatrical cut. Two questions though, whats the best cut, and are there any artists besides Vangelis that makes that kind of chill emotional electronic music?

Also my favorite movie. My favorite single visual is the shade being dropped before deckard tests whatshername. My favorite whole scene is probably one that occurs in deckard's home, the second one I think.

> Brokeback Mountain is my favorite film, and this may be my favorite scene. I think it really sums up the movie well. How Jake's character likes to be the bottom while Heath is the powerbottom, he has that instinct to get fucked in the ass. Also GOAT frolicking scene.

That's interesting; I'll look for it. While we're talking about commentary, this is hilarious:

Side note: apparently, Ridley Scott and ford both hated the voice over but were forced by the studio to do it, and ford literally tried to do it so callously that it wouldn't be used.
I printed this out and hung it on my dorm room wall

It's amazing how broad the appeal of Blade Runner is, and yeah that scene is fantastic.
If I had to choose, I'd pick the final scene in White Heat, where Jimmy Cagney is screaming "Look Ma, I'm on Top of the World!" Greatest ending ever

>whats the best cut
pls respond
not sure what my favorite scene of all time is. however, pic related is my favorite scene in Blade Runner. it's almost perfect the way she just starts crying in such an inhuman way, like she feels that she's experiencing sadness but she doesn't know how a human would go about it, so she just stares at him as tears come out. it really makes you feel sympathy for her.

directors cut or bust
International is also acceptable but just watch the directors.
theatrical was chopped up because of runtime, its sad that people couldnt sit still for longer.
>>67790869
a lot of people would say the best cut is the final cut. it doesn't have Harrison Ford's clumsy narration to hold your hand. you'll have to watch it multiple times to fully understand it, but you'll probably have no problem with that. the director's cut also cuts the narration out, but also cuts out some of the violence (Roy stabbing his hand with a nail and the eye gouging scene with Tyrell) and changes a bit of dialogue that frankly is just stupid and unfitting.
>>67796607
nah. final cut. it doesn't cut out any blood and Roy doesn't call Tyrell "fucker", which is way out of character for him.
the plane crash scene from TDKR
