Never heard of this. Sounds like a promising cast; how is it?
>>67788906
It's pretty comfy. It's got a microbudget but they make it work. Donovan is great.
>>67788951
What's the deal with the zombies? Slow/fast? Mutated craziness?
>>67789069
They start out as fast crazy zombies, and they become Pandorum-like creatures.
>>67789205
Sounds pretty rad. Will check out. Spanks anon

I didn't even know Oblivion was based on a comic book but the second half of the movie made it abundantly clear. What an uninspired way to conclude what could have been an interesting film.
>>67788765
havent seen the movie, but fuck me if the book didnt make me think this is one of the fucking bleakest post apocalyptic worlds that has ever been written about
no zombies necessary, that shit was scary enough
>>67789377

>>67791093
Was that really post-apocalyptic since it was set on a garbage planet that never had a civilization in the first place?
>>67790761

>>67788765
Vigo's best role imo
Aragorn is a very close second.
>>67790602
How should it have ended?
>>67791097
Kek
>>67791390
That scene where they make that pathetic stew with the shitty meat and vegetables he "confiscated" from the crime scene is great. The look of satisfaction and enjoyment on Heston's face, really is believable that it was the first time he tasted actual food, and really to me solidified the type of world that was.
>>67788765
>muh annoying girly son
>>67790761
Can't bring myself to ever watch this.
Why would I want to make myself depressed?
There was a day I spent looking up all the movies about nuclear wars and it was soul crushing.

>>67791239
>Cyborg
I'll never forget that scene when the girl strips to swim nude.
>>67788765
Such a good movie, the end of the world isn't gonna be some amazing survival story, it would be depressing and hopeless, and this nailed that.
>>67791830
Yeah, it's pretty bleak. A very realistic depiction of nuclear war and the break down of civilization. The end is straight up chilling.
>>6778862
^this
you should check The Divide
>>67788765
thats p good but the The Divide stole their spot
>>67790761
not even close to the malevolence i saw in The Divide

DUDE NO QUOTES AROUND DIALOGUE MAKING IT CONFUSING TO READ LMAO
>>67791704
also, just before shooting the 'going home' scene, the actor playing Sol told Charlton Heston that he had the cancer for real and was close to dying.

>>67792122
That's just McCarthy's style, he's a pretty good writer
>>67787609
Liked it even despite the stereotypical turn in the third act. Cool concept, especially for a German movie. It flopped, as expected, of course. Dude hasn't made anything since. As a German, feels bad, mang.
Stalker.
>>67788548
the short story is better though
>>67788765
It was pretty boring.
>>67792105
I turned off The Divide after 5 minutes.
>full scale nuclear attack on new york city
>chick watches it from her apartment window
>nuke hits six blocks away
>she isn't killed
>she doesn't go blind
>she doesn't get hurt
>she just watches with "muh googly eyes"
Trash.
>>67790632
That's why I love it so much, people are the scariest part.
That scene in the movie with the prisoners kept underground outside the house was horrifying

>>67793384
I like 28 days later quite a bit, but that shit on Blu Ray is un-watchable.
I don't care how convenient it is, shooting on DV was a fucking mistake.
