Zero chance, there's too much mutual respect between them. When things go sour between them it will be because of the environment shifting underfoot, not one killing the other. Yes, in the book he was feared like a mythological creature would be feared. Basically the scourge of every pirate hangout place, whenever they heard his name they'd shit their pants. So yeah, I think some shit is going to go down that will completely drain his sanity. I mean, you can already see how much he has changed from the first season cheerful, cheeky cunt he was into the John Silver we see now. I'm definitely looking forward how it will all unfold.
By the way, I definitely recommend the book, it's a great read.
