>Dat last shot where everybody's walking away from God's grave, but then you see a little bit of dirt on top of the coffin begin to rise
My wife's son Jesus loved it.
I'm not watching any of these until George Burns makes an appearance at the end.
Say it with me /tv/!

Kino in its truest form.
The greatest Christkino I have ever seen and possibly the greates film I've ever seen. Loved the scene where they proved God was real. I felt the holy ghost fill up inside me, brother. Praise him!

I actually saw the first one in the theater. No, I did not pay for my ticket. Holy mother of fuck it's one of the worst films I've ever seen.
I grew up in a strict Pentecostal household so I'm pretty familiar and tolerant with watered down "JESUS RULEZ!" type crap and even I thought it was unbearably terrible.
Admittedly the production values do look better in this sequel, and it actually stars a couple recognizable actors, but unless I'm extremely bored with plenty of alcohol I don't see myself ever sitting through it.

Honestly when I saw the trailer months ago with "APRIL 1ST" as the release date at the end I thought it was going to be some elaborate April Fools joke.

Post the one that compares kino across all faiths to american protestant flicks.
>>67783787
American TBN style evangelicalism hijacked Christian media and pretty much never let it go.
It's sad because I look back at the hundreds of years worth of Christian arts and all the amazing shit that was made to praise Jesus. And now we have this sorry state of affairs.

>anyone who criticizes these films for the crap they are gets called anti-Christian and thus reinforces the ideas behind them
Sigh.

You left out “Fireproof” ;-)

Doesn't seem as bad as the others desu.
Is Ray Wise a Christian? I'm confused as to how you can go from Twin Peaks and the Tim and Eric movie to stuff like this.
