I can't get over this opening sequence.
It's so fucking perfect. Zack Snyder is truly the most gifted visualist working in Hollywood today. Hans Zimmer & Junkie XL's score truly takes the scene to unprecedented heights as well.
The rest of the movie may have been an incoherent mess but the first five minutes are better & hold more artistic merit than anything in a Marvel film.

Batman vs Superman is no where near as bad as what people are making it out to be. I found it to be on par with the Avengers which is overly glorified and heralded as one the greatest films of all time.
Let's be real here what the hell did people expect from a movie about a guy dressed in a bat costume beating up bad guys and fighting a near invincible alien man who wears a spandex suit with a god damn cape.The Avengers on the other hand is just as ridiculous and honestly has a shittier plot than BvS yet it has a 92% on rotten tomatoes and an 8 on IMDB.

He's not even a talented cinematographer. Everything noteworthy from his films is cribbed from source material, hence why Sucker Punch is devoid of anything of merit. All he has really bought to the table is harsh colour grading and an (at the time) interesting use of slow motion to add kinetic impact.
