It's because it celebrates the glory of human progress, which is something everyone loves, without any weird ideological narrative.

I got a 1000+ watchlist and I just sometimes having trouble choosing. Especially when I add a director's other films without knowing anything about the movie.
>>67687728
Well, I have the same thing.
I order my folders in Animation/Documentaries/VOS movies, and then VOS in different countries, and then from each country in different hour lenghts (Less than 1:30, less than 2:00 and more than 2:00).
I watch in variety, maybe just 1 film per month from each director I have there. Is better for discover new things if you aren't rushed to watch a whole filmography of someone.
