It's a slow Lost-tier drama show. I got used to filler and slow episodes or as you would like to call them "Character development" episodes, because it's usually worth to wait for the payoff. The only dissapointing episode was the finale of S3 with Governor killing no one except his own generic henchmen.

Vikings has massive peaks and valleys, sometimes its good and sometimes its painfully boring - only watch if you're slightly interested in Vikings. Lots of hot chicks in it too.
JJ sucks, the villain puts on a good show but the rest of it is a drag.
DD is the same. Good villains, Kingpin and the Punisher, everything else sucks.

I will only speak for Vikings.
Overall, except for season 4 so far, every fight you will see is gonna be pretty fucking good.
Season 1 is slow.
Season 2 is incredible, really progresses A LOT.
Season 3 gets GOTS syndrome and tries and fails to shock the viewers, ends up just making them upset and mad.
Season 4 appears to be the lingering after taste of S3.
