I thought it was good.
I didn't mind it tbqh. Enjoyed it for what it was, a movie for children, I was 11, sue me.
>>67662754
"Alexander is bad" is a pretty entry-level meme
Spider-Man 3
Terminator SalvationVampires: The Turning (I'm fucking serious.)
It wasn't that bad. Title should be:
"I thought i could trust the critics"
>turning Roxana, a literal Aryan, into a nigger
>>67663162
well it sucks that she's literally a nigger but where Roxana comes from you can't blame them for wanting her a little bit brown
>>67663231
>but where Roxana comes from
Tajikistan?
I liked it because you could see Colin Farrel's ballsack tbqh
>>67662857
>sue me.
I will.

>>67662754
Alexander is actually one of my all-time favorite films and probably the one I watch the most often. I've seen it at least 10 times - probably way more.
>>67662754
it's flawed but i really enjoy the revisited cut. never saw the other versions.
>>67663937
I fell in love with Val Kilmer's Philip.
Out of all the rampant homolust depicted in the movie, his portrayal was the only thing that stirred my inner homo. He was perfect.
>>67664157
Still haven't seen it. How would you rate it against the other Craig-Bonds?which were all shit so far hence why I didn't bother with this one
>>67663645
more like eyebrow
>>67662857
I was 11 or 10 too, at the time I actually thought the podrace was the best part behind the final fight scene.
Thought the special effects looked amazing particularly during the gungan battle.
Don't rewatch this though. Just look up the maul fight on youtube
>>67664216
The opening scene was pretty good, although some people here would complain about the gratuitous violence.
>>67664216
Its probably third best behind casino and skyfall, if you liked skyfall
>>67664512
not to mention the pod racing game for the N64
>>67664565
I know you mean well but I gotta stop you there buddy.
>>67664216
If you didn't like the other Craig Bonds, you may actually like this one. It's a throwback to older Bonds, which is why I really liked it.
>>67664216
>Hating Casino Royale
We need more Ancient Greek movies
>>67664642
I don't get the hate for this movie.
Is it because its Batman Begins but with Robin Hood?
The closest thing to a good adaption of Fahrenheit 451 we're gonna get. The 1966 film is shit.
>>67664684
that's because STT is brilliant
>>67664157
i tried to like it, but holy shit the fucking pacing was absolutely retarded
>>67662923
>Spiderman 3
Most criticisms against the movie are valid, but some of the best scenes in the entire series can be found in 3, like the birth of sandman. Emo Parker walking down the street gets better with every viewing.
>>67664887
Just pretend it's not a Godzilla film.
>>67662754
It was OK.
But not good.
>>67665001
I actually like how he looks.
>>67665001
Yes.
Loved it.
>>67664887
harry teaming up with parker after he returns to his senses was one of the better moments of the entire series
>>67664857
I actually thought the pacing was one of the only good things about it.
>>67664165
I like that it plays out somewhat of a play-of-manners. I watched Pride and Prejudice (1995) the other week and Alexander is not that far off actually. Had it been presented as a play, I don't think audiences would have minded the acting. But out of context -as a film- everyone just assumes they're high on weed acting as they do (which is what I like...)
>>67662754
When I first got the internet and started reading reviews, I learned most of the stuff I liked was "bad".
>>67664755
why? you just know that black people will complain about them not being represented in it
I really loved the whole build up to godzilla, I don't get that a lot of people hated it
>>67662754
>Pros
+Decent battles and mixture of political intrigue for the first half of the film
+Rosario Dawson's tits are great
+Score wasn't terrible
+The Rosario Dawson sex scene is GOD TIER
+Anthony Hopkins
+Did I mention her tits?
>Cons
-The film drops in quality HARD after the first hour.
-Colin Farrell wasn't a very good choice to play the lead
-Angelina Jolie's character is an annoying cunt that feels forced more than she actually did historically
>>67664783
I don't like the Robin Hood film because it's just kinda dumb and uninteresting. It's messy as well with no real coherent structure. There's a thousand characters introduced and they all show up at the end fight against the french - for no real reason at all other than to just "be there cause you know it's the finale and everyone's gotta be there".
>>67665593
I liked the monster shit, I just hated Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Watched this about three times in High School
>>67665725
Krampus was good though.
I liked Wild Wild West the first time I saw it.
>>67665774
and now I have that song stuck in my head
>>67665593
Kick-Ass was basically the main human character. That's a main reason.
I liked it too but I wanted a grimdark Godzilla movie like in 1954. That comic-con trailer got me hyped for something like that.
>>67662754
Speed Racer.
Troy
Let them say I lived in the time of Achilles!
>>67667399
Doubles confirm best movie ever
That is why no one will remember your name
>>67664216
You now remember Quantum of Solace
>>67665947
is that the trailer where theyre Halo jumping and you see Godzilla in the smoke? That may be the best teaser ever made
>>67667399
>That Hector fight
>That fight with the big guy
>>67667586
Brad Pitt is a true gem.
>>67662857
>Enjoyed it for what it was, a movie for children
fuck off, George
It's one of those films you either love or hate. I thought it was ok.
>>67667535
Which isn't bad. Seriously watch it straight after Casino and you'll see it as a natural continuation of the story. The only issues were the dodgy chi in places and ducked editing
Fuck you, I like it.
A shame we will never get a spin off movie staring Christopher Plummer as Aristotle. I would watch 3 hours of him.
>>67671622
I agree with Oblivion, pure kino.
>>67664811
I love it senpai

Me too, I remember the sounds vividly, I still think it had some amazing sound effects.

>Alexander The Great
>Greek
Nice meme.
>>67665001
My favorite movie as a kid. Even today I still kind of have a soft spot for it.
>>67672310
The more recent Die Hards make this look like proper kino by comparison.
I enjoyed this movie immensely. You are probably too mainstream to even know this movie you utter plebs.
>>67672193
spotted the angry slav
last action hero and jingle all the way
>>67672193
It was part of Hellenistic Greece and Alexander was born within current days Greek borders. Just shut up.

>Wasted Potential: The Movie
>>67672193
even if you claim to be macedonian, that is fake macedonia, not the hellenistic one alexander ruled
Prometheus
were parts stupid? yes.
nonsensical? sure.
bad twists? ok
but it was well made, well shot, and was a damn sight better than any other "Alien" franchise movie after Aliens, and I feel like it's given a bad rap. it is enjoyable to watch if you take off your bitter nostalgia goggles
>>67671622

Everymaleperson that I know and respect eitherunderstands, likes or loves this movie. Only literal retardsand womencould possibly dislike it.

what a shit performance no really, yeah you could say it's not bad but given the premise of the lifestory of alexander the great it's shit, I mean you already have a awesome story that you can't fuck up that much, and still it is pretty astounding that we still don't have a proper great movie about alexander the great
>>67667399
troy is pretty fucking great m8, who said it was shit?
>>67672193
fucking pathetic

it's kind of a reddit flick but i like it a lot

>>67674619
The Greek city states were in wars pretty regularly so shit often got messed up.

Yes the part that was macedonian that macedonian minority lives in but was annexed by Greece in a war

Casino Royale is pure kino, Quantum of Solace is admittedly bad, and Skyfall is a 7/10
