I'm not 100% sold on the Lego Batman movie.
There's been several Lego Batman movies already. They're all straight-to-DVD children's schlock that isn't worth watching.
The trailer suggests that this will have the unique visuals and clever comedy of The Lego Movie, but ultimately I just don't see the point. Is this being marketed as a sequel to The Lego Movie, or as just a theatrically released Lego Batman movie in line with all the straight-to-DVD ones? In the end, does it really make a difference?
