RE guy must be one of the least interesting and skilled directors getting steady work. Everything he makes feels like it was dreamed up by a 13 year old and is poorly executed. If he didn't have a uranium hot IP to draw from I figure he'd be out of a job by now.

This was a brilliant criticism of Hollywood's perverse love of violence, which all too often degenerates into something resembling pornography. Hence the "money shot" at the end. The gratuitous use of green screen is a protest of the over-saturation of CGI in films these days. The loud, generic music playing in the background calls to mind Hans Zimmer's descent into mediocrity.
This masterpiece belongs with the other great films of our generation, like Deadpool or Zootopia.

The only decent part of this is the dude's facial reactions. He pulls just the same nonplussed face as I'd pull if I saw some chick giggle like a mad-woman while batting a ball around before bouncing it up a wall and jumping up after it and doing an awkward crouch-landing.
