There's actually an answer for this. There's a disproportionate amount of Jews in Hollywood because for the first half of the 20th Century or so only Jews had an interest in show business. Rich gentiles by and large considered it a waste of time and money.
Now these days there are lot more non-jews working in Hollywood, but there are always going to be a lot of Jews in hollywood because they started the business and it'll always have strong Jewish roots.

I have very mixed feelings towards S2. Frank is great, although muddling his backstory with a police sting and former-military heroine smugglers was sort of dumb. Matt when he's involved with the Frank storyline is good. Karen is much better in this season. Fisk's appearance was fucking amazing.
Foggy still sucks but that's really just the terrible acting and how he's written. The idea of a friend who is genuinely worried about Matt is fine, its the constant sarcasm and poorly delivered lines that ruin the character.
Ninjas are dumb. Zombie ninjas are even dumber. That entire half of the show was just awful. I can't take Stick seriously, I don't know if its the actor or the character. Elektra sucks but at least she's hot.

To also be fair, I have read a LOT of Daredevil comics so I'm pretty familiar with the ins and outs of the character and it's pretty on par with that.
Matt's character development this season has been an odd mix of full throttle and full brakes. You get 100% Matt right in your face, but you only get little hints about WHY Matt is such a douche bag about certain things.
His development in S1 was a lot smoother, probably because it was intentionally paralled with Fisk's.

It's his shitty fucking acting, seriously, wildly unbelievable scenes (him standing up to the district attorney, talking down criminals, defending frank, etc.). Every time foggy has to be a badass it jumps the shark completely out of orbit and just leaves a sour taste for the rest of the episode. It's a shame, the way it was handled in the scene where he was going into a biker bar and got out alive by being extremely non-confrontational was kinda okay. At least until the last scene where he had to be a badass again, which that actor can't pull off.
The screenwriters dropped the ball on this season. The likeable characters of the previous season were replaced with 1D caricatures who merely serve as plot devices rather than believable people.

That's not the point. Let's say daredevil himself was extremely unfit, his choreography was really wimpy and he clearly didn't know how to hit people, even in an actiony way. This would take a lot from the fight scenes, it might even ruin them.
Foggy is the oratorical equivalent. The thing is, it is much, much easier for us as a culture and as a species to suspend disbelief in a fight scene. Foggy is so fucking bad at speeches I genuinely think he might have aspergers. Yet he's given some of the most challenging dramatic tasks in the show, dramatic challenges that not only have to be good for the audience, but also are supposed to cause a very significant reaction in the other characters in the show. And the thing is, not in a million years does he pull this off. It is so unbelievably bad that I can't really understand why anyone lets that shit fly. It breaks all suspension of disbelief, sometimes it even makes me laugh.
