Can television be Kino?
>>67613788
Sure, given the right actors and budget. I think shows like HoC and Mad Men can compete with cinema.
Kino means nothing you pretentious philistine

>>67613788riplane pryce :( he did deserve better
I've never hated a character as much as pete only to then eventually relate to him more than any other character
>>67614180
Pete ended up being based, I'm happy he had a Good End.

Don't waste any more time, just GO.
>>67613788

>>67613788
yes

you'll unlock new reaction images and be able to post them on bhutanese image board
and it'll put hair on your chest
>>67614093
I seriously don't know what kino even is. I keep seeing it around here but I can't work it out.
>>67614566
Its a movie with little plot buy ahead of its time visuals. You can't tell for sure something is kino until at least 3-5 years so all tgis talk of a new release being kino is just trolling
>>67614646
So visuals and shit makes kino?
Is it just the vaporwave of cinema?
>>67614566
This is Kino.
>>67614719
That's just one movie, I'm talking of what defines the genre, if it is one.
>>67613788
If it could a plot-less soap opera like Mad Men is the farthest example.
>>67614260
I kino every day.
>>67614646
Wrong.
>>67614566
Apparently, it refers to movements with the goal of getting professional and amateur film-makers to work together in order to foster creativity and provide opportunities for lesser known amateur film-makers to get their work out there.
But for some reason, /tv/'s been using the term as a substitute for "patrician".
>>67614566
It's usually used in one of three ways:
1) A movie that is so awful that it transcends being bad and becomes enjoyably shit
2) Movies that are only good visually and are otherwise complete shit
3)Used in shitposting as a way to pretend that a completely unenjoyable trainwreck is actually some artistic masterpiece worthy of high praise. The goal is to to irritate and bait posters who use it in either of the other two meanings. Calling BvS 'capekino' is the most recent example of this third phenomenon.

Replace LOST with Mad Men.
>>67615430
