It's literally Breaking Bad all over again. A "nice guy" who's actually pretty shitty but doesn't want to accept it. Last episode's "I'll be a lawyer my own way" is similar to Walter's "I did it for myself all this time".

it's better than breaking bad so far.

I was a little bit confused about the desk. Did he mention in a previous episode that he wanted this type of desk or something? I thought there was a line that referred to something like that, but I couldn't remember a time where it was mentioned in a previous episode? Buying a $7000 desk seems counter to the type of person that is "him" rather than the person who he was trying to be.

Yes he mentioned it, it all tied into something like his dream of being a lawyer.

I was a fan of s1. It was slow-paced but you could feel it building to something.

s2 doesn't have that. I don't care about Jimmy or Kim and the only interesting stuff is Mike/Nacho.
>>
>>67609526
>>67609596
As much as I love Mike he is the worst part of this show. Rewatching Breaking Bad with my gf while watching Better Call Saul, it almost feels like a retcon of the character's relationship. if they establish how Mike came into Gus's employ I'll give it a pass.

Mike stared intensely into the eyes of the prosecutors. Mike stared intensely at his car. Mike stared intensely at the taco hut.

Its a character driven story so I can see why people who wanted another BrBa would be turned off by this origin story for Saul Goodman.
They added in Mike for the 'action' element but for some people that's just not enough.
Personally though I'm enjoying it and I like Kim's plan for two practices under the same roof. She's a straight arrow and Jimmy likes to bend the rules. It's the perfect compromise, though I can tell with Jimmy's sad expression it isn't going to work out and ultimately will probably kill their relationship. He has unrealistic expectations which really do carry on into Breaking Bad.

I'm actually expecting Kim's plan will be an astounding success
Kim and Jimmy's relationship will flourish

Then one of Kim's clients who she couldn't help because of her adherence to the law will murder her in rage
This is why Kim is never mentioned in BB
and it's also why Jimmy fully embraces his shady practices and becomes Saul Goodman
>>
>>67612584
It's hyperbole, sure, but it's not that far from the truth.

Yeah, there might be a good bit of scripted dramas, but they're all almost terrible.

As bad as BCS might be, it's still in the top 15 shows on TV, but I think that says more about the current state of TV than anything else.

Friendly reminder that the only people complaining about this are 15 year old BrBa fanboys. B. Chuck cucks Jimmy again with Kim at the end of the season. Screencap this.

That's kinda what I wanted/expected. I thought BCS would be much more lighthearted (Saul was the comic relief character afterall) rather than dark and depressing just like BrBa. But that expectation went out the window as soon as the first episode aired.

Yea exactly. I mean who doesn't like the theatrics of a witty lawyer changing suits, playing bag pipes, and being the mystery shitter. So captivating.

Don't forget getting stuck in the trash area behind panera. Wait, if thats not exciting to you how about jimmy kicking balls for the first five minutes of an episode.

How about 7 episodes of the main character doing absolutely nothing and ending up in the same position he started at the beginning of the season. Mind blowing stuff guys I tell ya. Its all about the details here, you wouldn't understand plebs.

Jim and Kim get embroiled in shenanigans that results in Kim being disbarred. Kim completely cuts him off.

Chuck dies of natural causes

Nacho induces Tio Salamanca's stroke and is forced to run away from Tuco for life

I am not very good at this
>>
>>67612888
This was actually a really well done montage and I'm happy I'm sticking through the slow burn.
>>
>>67616287
I'd hinky her dinky

BETTER CRAWL SAUL

hey guys I watch this show by myself but I just wanted to let you know in the cold open of this most recent episode (in Jimmy's dad's corner store), we see a Superman comic

It's Superman vs The Abominable Snowman
(#266 from 1973)

I own a copy of this! From my grandfather's old corner store in the city! It's worth jackshit because I didn't preserve it, but it's a weird little bit of personal trivia I wanted to share with my shitposting friends

anyways happy Tuesday /tv/

I have absolutely no idea how to feel or respond to this.

10/10 anon
>>
>>67617001
fuck off back to /co/
>>
>>67617061
y'know that feel when you have a weird connection to a piece of media but you're watching it by yourself so there's no one for you to turn to and share your pointless personal details with?
>>
>>67617001
You have to go back. Sorry, but you have to.
>>
>>67617119
I don't read comics bruh it's just a memento from the shop my granddad owned. fuck off back to /v/

I was in tears with the suit / inflatable guy montage

Funniest thing I've seen this year
>>
>>67617486
the way the inflatable guy danced was insanely human-like at one point

I love Kim but I hope she is murdered by the Mexicans or Gus
>>
>>67608505
Mike is literally the best part of the show.
He was the most interesting side character from BB anyway.
Why wasn't he given a lead role? Too old probably.
Fuck vince gillergims.
>>
I feel like you guys wanted a second-rate spinoff, and instead you got another high tier drama with a different goal and a different atmosphere instead

BRAVO VINCE
>>
>>67608393

Fuck off back to watch Transformers you fucking simple minded autistic pleb.
>>
>>67608376
That's why I enjoy it.

>>67608393
Not as boring as someone who uses the word 'astoundingly' as hyperbole.

>I can't understand underlying themes and development without being beaten over the head like a retard

Again, do you have a carer that wipes for you?

Please stop watching this show.

>Something exciting happens
>Man this show is nothing but Breaking Bad cameo's

I'd literally skull fuck you in front of your mom.
>>
>>67618894
wow, my mom's dead.
>>
>>67618914
Too bad she didn't die before you were conceived, but at least she can't make anymore children.

Thank god for small favors.
>>
>>67618456
>He was the most interesting side character from BB anyway.
What? He was pretty much a Terminator with a grand daughter, he had no personality outside of "grumpy grandpa who loves his grand daughter and kills a lot of people"
>>
>>67613696
Yeah this didn't make any sense. WHen the show started he had no clients, now he will get a lot because "nothing happened".
>>
>>67618945
You are really rude! It's just a mediocre show man.
>>
>>67618914
You probably shouldn't have given her AIDS, Jamal.
>>
>>67619028
>How will I afford a shit apartment in New Mexico for a woman and her child unless I am a bag man for a giant meth kingpin??!?
>>
>>67619047
Your mom's pussy wasn't even mediocre, it had barely a tighter grip than fucking a bucket of warm water. You should be happy that you are even alive.
>>
>>67612600
I think the card was an obvious metaphor for an inevitable break up between them.
She isn't mentioned in Breaking Bad I think because she's a source of pain for Jimmy.
>>
I can't even find a torrent for this shitty show.
>>
>>67619136
before or after rigor mortis?

Might explain the warm water versus hot water.
>>
you know what would be awesome?

A flash-forward to Breaking Bad (hear me out)

When Mike poisons the IV of the surviving Cousin, he does the finger-gun thing to him.

Payback served cold

(after all in BB all we see is Mike leaving his room and dropping a syringe in the trash)
>>
>>67612353
he's going to have a heart attack and be revived using a defibrillator, realizing that electricity saved his life he will go on to drop law and work as a lineman
this ain't your mamma's breaking bad
>>
I can't believe they killed off Julius Ceasar, terrible writing.

Thank god they didn't hire those fags for Game of Thrones.

i miss when the BCS threads were good, or at the very least were about what was happening in the show or something, the past 3 episodes have had basically the same exact thread made following airing, I mean fuck no disscusion on what the hell is going through mikes head stalking the salamanca joint , i mean why wont he take his money and be happy , will he start some shit and be saved by gus. the last episode shouldve broken the nothing happens meme, i mean it started because of the kate montage at least this episode had some funny moments, not to mention the best part was in the opening where they had this gem in the background : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMc8naeeSS8
>>
>>67620235
>the past 3 episodes have had basically the same exact thread made following airing,

psstt it's an inside joke
>>
>>67620372
i know but it takes over the thread
>>
>>67620462
there's always going to be mouthbreathers shitting up every thread on this board. the trick is to anticipate them and give them a little cage to run around in

>>
>>67608376
1. It's well established that "Nothing happens: the show" is Seinfeld.

2. Woah it's almost like real people make the same mistakes multiple times before learning, if they learn at all.
"Ah-ha" moments in shows are fucking stupid, and I'm really glad they didn't turn the plot entirely after the mediocre S1 ending scene.

Also, if you didn't laugh to yourself during the suit montage, please die.

>>67613792
