Batman Forever is the best Batman movie.
It has everything we could want from a Batman adaptation. A great Batman / Bruce Wayne. Two iconic villains, portrayed by great actors. An incarnation of Robin that doesn't suck. And Gotham actually looks and feels like it's right out of a comic book.
But most of all, it manages to have a good balance between darkness and cartoonishness.

Batman Forever VHS was my most watched VHS after Moomin. My nostalgia level is full 10/10 for Forever. Still, Forever is just solid. Think about the plot of the movie for a little: the Riddler invents a machine that can make your dreams come true. Batman doesn't approve as those dreams aren't real. Actual philosophical questions inside a cape shit.I would've sold my balls for Nigma's machine when I was a teenager.
