because brits are superior to americans
>>
Nope

I'd say British actors are superior but British films are pretty awful

Talking about shit like King's Speech and Philomena
>>
It's not, Brit cinema is irrelevant

Brit TV is amazing though
>>
It's better cause there are less jews but then there's also less money.
>>

it really isn't

It used to be, I wouldn't say so anymore

Britain used to make DANK war films (battle of Britain, Zulu, Dambusters, Bridge too far, Longest day, etc.) But now all the make is really faggy and/or old people movies about hotels in India being bought by rich people or some crap
>>

both made by American studios you dumb cunt.

try again.

Brits made like 2, maybe 3 movies and that was 50 years ago.
Today the only movies are made by Americans because we have freedom of speech. You idots still have a Queen.

Brits are better infront of the camera, Americans are better behind it.

Far more than 2 or 3

Powell and Pressburger? Hammer Horror? Brit Cinema used to be pretty based in the few decades following WWII. It's shit now though

Yes, his family were Bailiffs for the Angles in Wales, even before the Norman Conquest in the 11th Century.

So initially outsiders, yet they've spent over a millennium in Wales. If James Joyce is considered Irish and not French, then Bale could be considered Welsh.

Interesting technicality.

Far more literate (or at least they were once) and a greater amount of quality control (at least in selectivity).

Lancashire has the greatest authors in film and television history. Robert Bolt, Philip Mackie, the Shaeffer brothers, etc. etc. etc.

BBC's The Cleopatras, The Caesars, Lawrence of Arabia, A Man For All Seasons, Amadeus, and so on. Although Amadeus is a pretty crass entry next to the rest of them.

Erudite, witty and with intricate Characterisation:

Pretty well established that UK actors are often theatrically trained and tour with Royal Shakespeare Company or similar.

US actors chosen predominantly on looks and acting ability is made up for by lots of action and camera cuts every 5 seconds.

Once that trick wears off though, or if you're looking for an older actor to do more than just be eye candy (perhaps to lend some gravity to a scene, for example), you realise how limited many of these actors are.
