I never really understood how after just throwing each other through buildings and beating each other up like rag dolls, Zod's neck could be broken. Like, if Superman has the strength to break Zod's neck, why don't any of his other physical attacks on Zod seem to do anything? Why wasn't Zod's skull fractured when Superman was banging it into a marble floor just seconds before?
