The leftovers has a similar vibe and I like it for the same reasons. Tbh I was a lot younger when Lost was a thing so I couldn't really grasp it fully with the emotional maturity I do now.
Lost reboot when
One day there'll be an internet blackout and we'll all be forced to watch broadcast television again.
After a few decades of renegade attempts at establishing WANs, we'll all give up and experience the next L O S T.
Thankfully all the shitposting will take place in real life, and children with scrapbooks and stencils will make the new generation of verticals.
