I finally understood why the critics gave BvS low scores.
Most of the critics were saying it was not fun, it was too long, etc, but what they didn't understand was that BvS was not meant to be seen as a capeshit movie. Snyder for all intent and purposes, timed the release date on Lent to have the people watching it connect to the movie spritually rather than a cookie cutter garbage that Marvel produces. The deep philosophical themes and the reverbating spiritual undertones are the main reasons that BvS didn't click with the critics and thus incurring low scores at RottenTomatoes.
It was meant to be seen like Passion of the Christ.
