Now, I think it was entirely appropriate for him to let Ra's Al Ghul die or kill Harvey Dent (who was threatening a kid), but nothing becomes of it! He doesn't even show guilt or remorse like "oh my god, I killed a man, Joker was right". Nothing. So why even implement the rule in the first place.
