A lot of the problems stem from editing, I think there is a chance the longer cut will be better but right now the pacing is off so the movie feels longer than it is, so a longer cut could go either way. It could fix the pacing problems and thus work better or if all the stuff that was cut out is shit it will only get worse.
Also, Eisenberg is bad. I feel like he was trying to sabotage the movie. He plays Lex as a weird Joker-style doofus rather than as Lex, its a baffling performance.
Also the Justice League stuff is shoe-horned in, even Wonder Woman, but Gadot isn't terrible so it kind of works.
Ben is honestly the best part and I think a solo-Batfleck movie could be pretty damn good.
Henry is given nothing to do, and they are clearly trying super hard to appease Amy Adams by making her role huge even when it doesn't make sense (Lois just keeps showing up places randomly in the third act, as if she has a secret teleportation ability)
A lot of the really bad parts have been talked about on this board (the piss jar scene, the doomsday intro) so if you go in knowing what you're getting you might have a good time.
Best comparison movie is honestly a cross betwee; 2011s Green Lantern and The Dark Knight Rises. If you remember how awkward some of those were, then you've got an idea of what's coming.
