Some do.

Many do

>he thinks normies don't get word of mouth about a movie's reception

Normies use imdb instead
>>
I know because I am a normie.
>>
>>67386250
I do. Especially for blockbusters.

Then how did Transformers 4 made 1.1 billion dollars when it has 9% on rottentomato?
>>
>>67386587
is that the dinosaur transformers film? i only watched the first. if it is, then it makes sense cos.. dinosaurs!
>>
>>67386278
Most normies don't know what RT is.
>>
>>67386660
Then how did Transformers 2 and 3 do so well despite shitty reviews?
>>
>>67386660
This. Dinosaurs make a billion on name alone.
>>
>>67388401
The great Chinese firewall blocks rotten tomatoes.

>hey man how Marvel/Transformers/Jurassic World/Star Wars/Hobbit/Fast and Furious/etc?
>sick dude it had epic action and a wicked sense of humor!
>Nice! I'll definitely see that!

That's how word of mouth works for these movies. Not critical analysis.
>>
>>67388871
They don't care about the "critical analysis" obviously, all they care about is the scores.

Normies are very interested in what the general public think about movies, and how much a movie has made at the box office. They are more inclined to watch something that has good scores on their favorite movie websites and/or if it has made a lot of money. To them if it is popular = it must be good.

I do, but with the knowledge that RT critics are usually whiny liberal faggots who get buttblasted when a movie either doesn't enforce their political and social beliefs or shits all over them.

So I actually read the reviews instead of just looking at the overall score.
