"Hey matt murdock. Whats your power?"
"I'm a blind man who can see"
>>
>>67372198
I walked out of my bedroom right then when he said that
>>
>>67372190
that's kind of the point
>>
I liked in season 2 ep 2 when he lost his hearing and actually did become blind due to having no senses he freaked out because he had never really been blind before.
>>
>actively looks at things that get his attention, even though he has no need to
I honestly would forget he was blind if the show didn't remind you of it every 20 minutes.
>>
>>67372264
OP here, that's my point
>>
>>67372262
That was pretty cool. I was reminded of some scene in the Daredevil movie where something involving a train shows up and fucks his hearing. Cool idea but also probably the dumbest execution I've ever seen
>>
>>67372264
it doesn't help the actor actually looks at people he's speaking too, then realizes "oh shit I'm supposed to be blind" *impersonates ray charles for a few seconds and looks off center slightly*

This is my favourite capeshit show, but I'm getting really bored of ninjas and very dark scenes so you can't see shit.

The Elektra romance is cut and paste standard boring filler shit, and she's not even close to waifu material, then again I doubt anyone will be able to stand up to the blonde.

Ninjas are cool, but not when they are so fucking many of them all the time behind every shadow, shows starting to look like Arrow...

sigh phams
>>
>>67372458
Well a blind person still knows what direction a voice is coming from.
>>
>>67372016
Season 2 is kind of messing with S1's establishment of his powers. In S1 all his senses are heightened, but in S2 he seems to be relying on his hearing more than anything.

>S1's where he explains his sight as "a world on fire"
epic scene
>>
>>67373185
>very dark scenes so you can't see shit.
Your monitor may be shit or you may have fucked with the settings. Or you have an LCD and are viewing at some extreme angle. I have a Dell and I can see everything just dandy.
>>
>>67373557
>the ninja's don't have heartbeats so they are invisible

Also, why would a zombie ninja need to breathe if they don't circulate blood?
>>
>>67373599
so your telling me action movies and tv shows, do not use specifically dark scenes so they can cut corners on costumes, extras and fight scenes ?

okay m8
>>
>>67373902
No, I'm saying your setup sucks ass. The scenes are not too dark. But if your monitor sucks all the blacks will crush and look shitty.
>>
>>67372016

his super-power is that he can see without eyes woohoo
>>
>>67372262
Lasted for a whole five seconds. This guys blindness is totally pointless. They can make his eyes work and absolutely nothing would change except he's top walking around with those stupid glasses
>>
>>67372262
What was up with that. Something really fucked up happened with his hearing and it's never mentioned again. Is there a comics reference to this?
>>
>>67374249
There's still a lot he can't do because of his blindness. He can't really see faces or things specifically, just knows there's something there.
>>
>>67374131
you better hide your ninja porn
>>
>>67374312
Probably just a concussion or ptsd from being shot in the head.
>>
>>67372264

This bothered me a little more than it should have, because it should be making everyone around him suspicious that he's not actually blind.

>guy sitting at the bar drinking, not making any serious noise
>Matt "totally blind" Murdock walks over to him, sits in front of him, and starts talking to him
>>
>>67372190
He still can't do things like read without brail or watch a movie.
>>
>>67374921
He reads by feeling the ink on the paper.
>>
>>67374921
if he can tell if a train's boxcar is empty or not by "negative space" he can watch a movie
>>
>>67375154
>negative space on a tv screen

No. He literally can't watch videos.
>>
>>67374890
This scene bothered me the most.
>>
>>67372253
Made me smile

>DD uses his "negative space" super power to tell if something is empty
>negative space is literally tied to sight
>DD can see just fine
>>
>>67372264
I don't think you guys have ever met a real blind person. They basically are daredevil minus the ninja moves. A blind person will look you directly in the eyes same as a normal person when talking (circumstantial). They can easily, almost creepily, navigate through crowds of people (again circumstantial). And they can locate people without much difficulty like in a room.
>>
>>67373185
The last fight really felt like I was watching Arrow
>>
>>67375400
you realize you're speaking to autists, right?
>>
>>67375400
I get why he looks at people. I meant more that he'll look at things when he's in investigation mode as if he's actually seeing them. Head tilts and all. Maybe that's how it works though, I've never met a blind detective.
>>
>>67376151
Well for him technically he can see (world on fire) but for real blind people I think its just embedded in us to naturally point our head towards whatever we're focused on, whether you can see or not. As for when hes on rooftops and stuff scanning I like how he does that jerky head thing; I think that's more him "triangulating" his target with his sonar shit and super hearing all tuning in.
