It's undeniably a good movie, but completely forgettable and unremarkable.
Now that the Blu-Ray is out I tried rewatching it, and this is how things went:

>Stormtroopers raiding the Jakku village is ok, watched until after the Poe-Kylo conversation
>skip Poe and Finn's escape
>skip Rey's desert bullshit
>skip Millenium Falcon escape and meeting Han and Chewie
>skip Maz Kanata bullshit
>take a look at the Force vision scene to see if I missed something
>skip most of the surprise attack, rewatch Poe's flight run
>skip Rey capture, interrogation, and escape
>skip all the Leia bullshit
>skip most of the ice planet bullshit, rewatch Han's death
>skip more bullshit
>rewatch trench run
>skip Finn/Kylo fight, skip most of the Rey/Kylo fight
>skip everything else until the end scene to laugh at the chopper shot

honestly with this movie I've noticed a weird phenomena where I'm bored when I'm watching it but when I'm not watching it I want to.
This sounds sad but I think it's something to do with the three new leads, honestly they're charismatic enough that I want to pseudo-hangout with them by watching it. Almost like the plot around them is a chore but the back and forth between them all is entertaining. Kinda dumb but this is just how I've pinned down my attraction to this movie.
