Interesting doc.
He didn't care about the story. He says it numerous times in the doc. He wanted it to be an art project, not a movie based on herbert's story. Fine, I suppose, but as a Dune fan, it made me not give a shit whether he made the movie or not. Especially that fucking ending.

I personally think that had the movie been made it would've been terrific but a poor adaptation of the material.
People who want to see what Dune would've been like need to read Jodorowsky's comics. He recycled a lot of the ideas in most of his work.
