Rewatching from the beginning, on Season 3 now.
It's funny how the early seasons actually portrayed them as a family. The episodes revolve around a lot of down-to-earth problems like Lisa being depressed, Bart being bullied, or Homer and Marge's marriage going through a rough patch and being tempted elsewhere.
They're still gearing up to the great seasons and then the inevitable fall, but watching the early seasons makes me kind of sad knowing what it will all become.
