I cant believe this set was just destroyed when they were done, more than likely. I bet if someone wanted to buy it and preserve it they could sell it instantly.

Clu didnt even have to physically hurt Flynn to break him. He just had to fuck with him, ruin his perfect system.

They're just latex and silicone, so not very but everything was shot indoors so I doubt they got uncomfortably hot in them at least.

Only saw this movie because there was a world based on it in the Kingdom Hearts 3DS game.

I thought it was a fun movie for what it's worth. Way better than Avatar seeing it wasn't made of bits and pieces of earlier movies or shoved a half-assed "Nature good, humans bad" message down your throat.
>>
>>67296121

Also the factor that it had that cool, sleek fully digital environment and visuals rather than a regular jungle with alien shit in it.

Why do people act like this film is super awful? Compared to most other blockbusters, it's actually great.

-Likable cast
-Inspired visual design
-Good special effects
-Perfectly fitting soundtrack
-Olivia Wilde looking her best

Could have been a really sick franchise to develop
>>
>>67299125
I would say with absolute sincerity that it's the best nostalgia reboot/sequel.

Saw it opening night in IMAX (my first IMAX film) and everyone seemed to love it. I went with a group of 12 friends, and afterwards we all went to dinner and nobody had anything negative to say about it. I've had a lot of good conversations about this movie, especially on tv
>>
>>67299089
>mosquitos
>>
>>67299125
it had a by-the-numbers plot/script, and the Tron brand name just didn't have enough name recognition to win out over capeshit and Star Wars. I think it did well enough that it could have had a sequel, but the studio wanted to shelve it and move on to bigger fish.

I busted out laughing at that. I never figured out if that delivery was entirely intended, but it was perfect. Literally every problem in the movie caused by Flynn flippantly being like, "Uh, yeah, sure. Do whatever, bro."
>>
>>67299824
I think it was more that he was confused, like "why would he ask me this?"

I've never seen or heard anyone say a negative thing about the Tron: Legacy score. Daft Punk nailed it.

Also the throwbacks with Journey and stuff in the Flynn arcade were great.
>>
>>67292448
>watch tron uprising
>this scene shows up
s2 never ;_;
>>
Thought it was dissapointing because there was barley any plot and the universe was hardly explores. It was just an escape and get out alive type flic. So much lost potential
>>
>>67300057
>barley any plot
It's literally God bringing his Son into his created world to remove Lucifer's corrupting taint. How is that not enough plot for you?
>and the universe was hardly explores.
I was okay with that though. If it were a book or a tv show, sure, you'd need to ask a lot of questions. But it's a movie, and not the kind (like Star Wars) that can do a bunch of worldbuilding at once. Also remember that it's a sequel and some questions may have already been answered.
>>
>>67300055

Tron Legacy was basically just a feature-length Daft Punk music video. And for being that it was awesome.
>>
>>67300057
>an escape and get out alive type flic

But that's exactly the 1982 Tron. If you're going to bitch about the movie then complain that it's to much like the videogame Tron 2.0.

>Tron 2.0
>You play the son of Flynn
>You go on a journey in the grid to find the "Legacy Code"

Years later Tron: Legacy comes out. Fucking plagiarism
>>
I liked this movie but it wasn't enough for me to love it. I don't think I've ever been more hyped for one though
>>
>>67295573

Same outcome. CLU2 was looking for an excuse. His reasoning was already cemented. He was beyond flexibility at that point.

They are not CGI, but to be so damn bright they batteries only last about 2 minutes, so they have to only use them right as they are about to film, and only when going for the actual take.

if i was trying to impress my son and his digital waifu, i don't think putting a dead burned pig in the middle of the table would be high on my list of things to do. not a vegan, btw, i just prefer my dead pigs to look like neat slices of ham.
