The North could at most rally 10 000 men at this point. The Riverlands maybe another 10000, but most of those would be Freys, not loyal to Jon at all. There are only 5 000 living Wildlings, including women and children. That means 2 000 warriors at best.
Stannis had like 1 500 non-Mercenary troops before he got killed. Doubt even 500 are left.
The Vale is still at full strength at 40 000 men, so Littlefinger would be the head of the army. But that still falls short to the Reach's 70 000. And then you have to consider that provisions for the North and the Vale will be cut short because Winter already is at full strength there.

Jon was by no means a bad leader he was impulsive, he had all the right ideas it's just the people around him who were stagnant and afraid to open up to change more so in the show. Like many other things, it's hate about overratings and about fans, not about the character itself.
Tyrion might be a 8/10 character but when showfags praise him like he's the best thing that happened to books/tv in centuries, that gets people to hate them, and then hate him by relation.
Kinda of like how half of /got/ seems to hate the absolute fuck out of Jon Snow, and the other half, same for Stannis.

It was like an entire season ago that D&D ruined my favourite series. S5 is about 90% off book and complete shit even when it is near to the books.
