Pee Wee hasn't been consistent with continuity... ever. The live show was different from the movie. The movie was different from the tv show. The tv show was different from the other movie. There are different levels of Pee Wee

I know its not really /tv/ related, but I downloaded a radio station mod pack for fallout 4.
It has been YEARS since ive seen or even heard any of the classic pee wee shit.
One of the radio stations is nothing but classic peewees playhouse episode. Shooting raiders in the wasteland while listening to audio only episodes of peewee takes the surrealism to a whole other level.

I loved that about it. The writing and directing was brilliant, I loved how they kept flirting with Pee Wee's sexuality without ever getting graphic or lewd. They play up the gay stuff and sexualize the bank robbers, but it's never clear who he is attracted to.
