What does /tv/ think of this movie?
it was weird and confusing. probably too "pretentious" for me to fully understand, and i consider myself a very average movie watcher.

It's a gorgeous film to behold visually. I understand what he's trying to go for, but I don't feel that it really worked. It's worth at least one watch, but I would put it towards the middle of Aronofsky's filmography.

the conquistador part is just a story in the book liz was writing. the space part is the actual future after he achieved immortality through his research.
