I'm so split on this adaptation of the Punisher. On one hand, I hate the Punisher in the comics. I think he's a self righteous cunt. In the show he's much better but he doesn't really feel like the comic Punisher. So I guess it's a bad adaptation but a good character? I really don't know where they can go from here with him either. He can't show up in any other marvel stuff and just start blowing people's head off.
The show is still a mixed bag to me too. They do some great stuff like Punisher and Kingpin but they really miss some of the better and deeper elements of Daredevil himself.

As much as I would LOVE Spider-Man having a netflix series with the other street level heroes, I can't see them going for it. For one thing it would be WAY too expensive. Spider-man's powers are much more expensive and difficult to portray, as are most of his villains.
Not only that, but Spider-Man's super popular with kids, so I doubt they want him interacting with the highly r-rated other street-level characters.
It does raise issues though with characters like say, Black Cat, who interact with both Spider-Man and Daredevil a lot. Who gets Black Cat? Or could Kingpin show up in a Spider-Man movie as a villain, or would they not go for that?

2) The DA was launching a investigation. She was murdered. On screen. Within hours of starting her investigation.
3) Keep in mind that this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The government has a lot of important shit to handle. For all we know, they had the events of Civil War going on in the background, or an alien threat. While a mass shooter who targets criminals walking out of prison may seem like a big deal to us, It wouldn't be as big of one in the MCU.

As for capeshit, this is the best on tv better than a lot of the movies.
Sure, it was over ambitious and the two main plot lines didn't gel.
It had a few issues here and there. Some blaring mistakes e.g. end fight they showed shit loads of ninjas running along the roof tops and then it turned out to be like 12 guys and Nobu; Matt even said they were beyond counting.
The only ever major problem is the same thing with all of these shows is pacing. They start off by hitting the ground running and then slow down. The Blacksmith and not hearing the what the Hand were really planning? Urgh.
Aside from that it was great. Amazing fights. Decent acting. Felt like there was consequences.
