>Tim Burton always needs quirky font when his name is shown on screen
>>67213740
Let it die in 3D!
I fucking hate annotations.
is that borat?
seriously?
>>67213862
Who?
I fucking hate Tim Burton so much
>>67213740
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland was one of the first movies I have ever seen in my life.
i'll only watch it for mia
>>67213993
Young Aurora Snow?
>>67213993
Mommy! Mommy!
Did the first one make money or something?
How is Burton still a thing? Fuck off, Burton
>>67213740
>The movie from the book that nobody knows it exists
Tim Burton is a piece of shit. I idolized the guy as a kid but he's really a one trick pony that's just declined in quality with every new film
was that sacha baron cohen?
how am I supposed to watch this now that I've seen him sucking on a nutsack
Why don't you guys go watch the actually good films in this genre though?
>>67214095
nightmare was great!
>>67214207
the only good thing about crimson peak was the sets and costumes and maybe the ghost design if they had shown it more
otherwise it was just a shitty period drama
>>67214259
He didn't even direct it
>>67214039
his Alice in Wonderland made $1.2 billion and is in the top 25 highest grossing movies of all time.
>>67214207
>Crimson Peak
>good
I bet you thought Pacific Rim was also redeemable.
Del Toro's best work will still remain to be Pan's Labyrinth.
>>67214095
That's a bit unfair now
>Batman
>Batman returns
>Edward scissorhands
>Nightmare before Christmas (is his name really in the movie's title?)
>Mars Attack
>Big Fish
I have not seen Bettlejuice yet thought.
>>67214458
How is that unfair? Everything hes released after those titles you've named have been trash.
>>67214458
>hasn't seen beetlejuice
what the fuck nigga
>>67214544
and that makes him a "piece of shit"?
take your meds, kid
>>67214662
Yes that makes him a piece of shit. Cry harder
>>67214589
it did come out in 89 or so remember
All that ugly CGI, talk about sequels nobody asked for
Burton's Alice in Wonderland is one of those films you can't remember whether you've seen or not
>>67214544
Maybe Quentin Tarantella is right, you can only make so many movies before you run out of fuel.
A bit unrelated but not too much, how was "Red Tails" considered on /tv/?
>>67214589
I even bought the DVD, a DVD,does this not make you feel old?
Ed Wood is Tim Burton's best movie
>>67213740
Did they fucking REUSE that scene with the mad hatter standing in burnt rubble from the first movie?
Jesus. Michael Bay is a raging hack but at least he had the decency to only reuse a few second-long shots, not entire scenes.
It'll be as bad as the first. The lead cannot act for shit and all the characters are caricatures.
>>67214858
The first movie made more than a billion, of course there's a sequel.
To be fair the the cgi looks much much better, just compare the white rabbit from 1 to the new trailer, the level of detail has increased massivly.
Of course a polished turd is still a turd.
Do people actually like the Alice story? Tired of every medium constantly trying to retell it.
>>67215091
git gud
>>67215091
They tried forcing a story into the first Tim Burton Alice in the Wonderland film, but there isn't really that much of a story in the book. She just walks through the world and sees weird stuff and interacts with strange beings. No prophecies or destinies or shit. Frankly I'm surprised Burton didn't managed to fit in more of his Daddy issues into the film like he usually does.
>>67215384
That thing was cool as fuck. Why don't more films use stop-motion with animal skeletons?
>>67215384
the dark crystal?
>>67215091
yes
>Alice rehash to Wonderland
I wish the american mcgee alice movie got made back in the early 2000s
What is the point? They'll never top the original:
https://youtu.be/SWlCSBhAlV0
>>67216135
>that dance
>>67214347
$1.025 billion
How the hell did it make that much it was so fucking terrible???
>>67216277
it's a story everyone already knows so it comes off as non-threatening and kid friendly
>>67216277
Alice in wodnerland is one of the most famous "children" books, people of all ages love that story because its unique setting and characters.
I went toi see it twice because its my favorite fairy tale. stay mad.
>>67214458
>no Ed Wood, ahsnt seen Beetlejuice Beetle juice Beetlejuice
found the pleb...

>>67213943
THIS, this will be a breath of fresh air after all these comic movies
>>67213740
>tfw we will never get an accurate depiction of Through the looking glass because bim turton sucks his own cock too much
>tfw his shitty rendition of the original Alice was so shilled he got to make the sequel but we will never see a live action version of Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator despite the original 1970s version being one of the most iconic book adaptations ever
