Back when TASM2 flopped Sony begged Raimi to come back and a few months ago he said he would be willing to return to the franchise but despite all of that they've gotten some unknown to direct the latest reboot. I'm guessing Marvel told Sony not to get him since Marvel is very strict about directors obeying them and Spider-Man 3 showed he doesn't like obeying meddling producers. Although it could be Sony came to this decision on their known, the leaked emails show they're fucking retards that have no idea what they're doing.

This is a good list because I agree with it, although nostalgia is a factor here. Honestly the only things the first 2 have over ASM is the villains. Gobbie and Ock were great. Lizard was kind of really stupid.
