Is there any screenwriting apps?
>>
Not sure. Interested

The app isn't going to magically allow you to write a screenplay. Just use any old typing app or program to write until you're ready to finalize it with the proper spacing, font and so on needed for screenplays.

notepad

For a computer? Final Draft. Phone? No clue.

Final Draft is industry standard as is using a pirated version
>>
Celtx

Yeah, Celtx. I use the desktop app (It's free), and their ipad/mobile app is free too. And it all saves to your cloud account so you can access your shit anywhere.

Not the best software out there, but its really clean and free. Gets the job done. I think professionals use Final Draft usually though.

If you don't write with a typewriter, you're not an auteur. Get out reddit scum

MyScreenplays Free is a good app for your phone. For computer just use Celtx

Use Final Draft. It'll make writing a screenplay a thousand times easier as far as logistics go and will give you an instant pro look. Saves you tons of time.

I thought the mobile app was like 5 bucks.

Regardless I've been using it for a long-ass time now.

MS Word.

Final Draft
Celtx
Pages (screenplay template)
OpenOffice (screenplay template)
Microsoft Word (screenplay template)
Trelby

A few I use.

How are you people using software to write screenplays? They can't be any good, can they?

Pencil and pad is the only real way to write a screenplay, I don't see how it can be argued. MAYBE a typewriter.
>>
Final Draft is pretty based.
thanks chinglu

I plan in pencil. I write scenes in pencil, but I write the actual script digitally. I work best by hand though
