name a greater film.
protip:you can'ti said greater, not better
that's what i thought
I second this. Has anyone ever been able to provide a legitimate piece of criticism other than "I personally didn't like it"?
>>67187206
Meme flick at best.
>>67188161
Has anyone ever been able to provide a legitimate piece of argument to why this movie is good other than "I find pretty neon lights pretty"?
>>67188161
Some of the acting could be better and I think the script could use some work in a few places.
There's also that rape scene that kind of comes out of nowhere, which is weird.
>>67188161
Harrison Ford is annoying
>>67188161
the only criticism I can think of which is legitimate is Harrison's voice over and the happy ending, but they were both cut in later versions and forced by execs to be in the original version of the movie.
>>67188161
1982 cut or final cut? final cut is more or less perfect
>>67188243
>There's also that rape scene that kind of comes out of nowhere, which is weird.
it's not rape you dimwitted virgin
>>67187206
Hey dipshits. I just bought all collector edition. Should I watch directors cut or theatrical?

So hyped that they are showing this on the 5th next month on my theatre. Gonna be great
>>67188464
Final Cut or Directors, Theatrical is hilariously bad.
>>67188537
>Buying media you like is bad
is seems you are the dipshit anon
>>67188243
>rape
Whatever you say, bucko
>>67188582
Deckard is not a replicant, movie wouldn't thematically work if it was, Ridley Scott is an idiot and you shouldn't take anything he says seriously
None greater then 2001: a space odyssey

Thanks you for pointing out the 10/10 visuals, but others include
>10/10 cinematography
>10/10 soundtrack
>10/10 special effects
>10/10 characters
>10/10 film noir throwback
>10/10 themes (deep ones that actually question morality, humanity, life, and existence as a whole)
And above everything else...
>10/10 atmosphere
>>67188161
almost all of the criticisms completely miss the point and intent and don't come close to catching even some of the nuances.
if you can't appreciate the movie, you've basically hit the pleb filter and/or failed the inherent voight-kampff test.

I've never heard him say that, I just thought so because of the paper unicorn thingy. I don't really care one way or the other, it's a great film
I really didn't like how easily Deckard is able to take out all of the replicants, but then when he gets to Rutger Hauer all he can do is simply run away.
Maybe I should watch it again. There really are a lot of great qualities in the movie, but I feel like it has giant holes gaping through it.
The confrontation with the blonde female replicant comes to mind. If I recall correctly, all she does is cartwheel around the room, maybe slap Deckard once or twice, and then is immediately shot to death like it was nothing.

it's the ultimate rewatch movie. there's a reason why many people keep going back to it even though they don't like parts of it at first, and it was originally a mixed/negative failure.. it wasn't just because of the bad voice-over. just be sure to give yourself the time between attempts so that you can integrate and reflect on the experience and the process. you'll know.
