I know it's turned into a bit of a meme but Watchmen is definitely the best capeshit I've seen.
It's basically the only capeshit that feels like it was actually written for adults. It shows ugly shit happening, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. I suppose Sin City compares, but that always felt way too gimmicky.
