I thought the celebrity cutaways were kind of hypocritical to the movie, it felt like the exact move the banks and subprime lenders would do- fluff up the complicated stuff, giving shitty half-baked metaphors rather than actually explaining it... Because it is actually really fucking important to understand.
Looking at that pic I want to see Brad Pitt in a 70s political thriller that would have starred Robert Redford had it been shot in the 70s.
