Justified in formulaic "dude I'm a quickdraw gunslinger" same 3 characters for 8 seasons and nothing happens shit
Longmire's seasons are all different, has different characters, character progressions, mysteries, and it's neat to see how a rural Sheriff operates (he does everything from ballistics, to death notices, even his own autopsies)
It's in a similar vein to the Coen Bros "No Country for Old Men", it's kind of a slow burnpatricians only
Skinwalkers on Netflix is pretty good
