why is Canadian Netflix sub-par when compared to US?
>>
because canada is sub-par when compared to US

Get. Out.
>>
>>67101189
the liberal government forces Netflix Canada to add movies of diversity which means good movies are left out
>>
>>67101189
Jesus, US Netflix is already pretty subpar, what does that leave you guys with? Like, one season of Friends or something
>>
US Netflix isn't great either. 9 times out of 10 I want to watch a movie and Netflix doesn't have it. Not even sure why I'm still subscribed. Probably going to cancel it soon.

There is suspiciously a lot of Marijuana choices on Canadian netflix
>>
well at least we're getting daredevil

I legitimately wouldn't be surprised if this stops being a joke and starts being a reality if 5 years.

Canada's ruler is already a pot-smoking SJW, so it can only go downhill from here.
>>
The Horror section is god awful. Mostly those Nazi zombie movies and zero classics.
>>
>no goodfellas
>no man with no name trilogy
feels bad man

The sad part is I'm not sure if you're telling the truth or not.

Why are ther so many lesbian and indian films on netflix?
>>
Because companies like Bell, rogers, and shaw own the rights, often exclusively, to distribute a lot of murrikan content here.

Unless you really like their OC, shit like craveTV (has all star trek shows) and shomi are better choices for old shows
>>
so I found out that Hulu has Criterion movies

I already have Amazon Prime, which has 90% of the Netflix catalog minus a few shitty movies and "originals" (aka BBC shows)

should I just switch?
>>
Netflix.ca has Inside Out tho

Distribution rights.

>>67101637
I have access to shomi but I've never used it. Is it really that much better than Netflix?
>>
>>67101600
Sad for you, so used to le liberal scapegoat despite LPC being more centrist and also not being in power until very recently. Netflix Canada was the same grade of terrible under conservative government
>>
>>67101600

He is right. Canada has laws about this. Channels/Streamers have to have a certain percentage of "original Canadian content".
>>
>>67101676
I don't think its any good.

CraveTV is available to all of us now, and has useful stuff (HBO, Showtime, comedy shows, star trek)
>>
>>67101676

No. Just get a VPN and use Netflix USA
>>
>>67101719
>CraveTV
Hmm, one month free trial; guess I'll have to check it out.

>>67101737
I was using US Netflix with a DNS code until it stopped working months ago. Don't want to pay for a VPN that may or may not werk. Piracy is cheaper.

>not taking advantage of high price and selling now, then when it goes down acquire more

Fiat currency is a common thing forever now, gold not being used for practical applications is just dumb, especially when you have to spend out of a recession

i have crave with my Bell package
>>
>>67101676
its mostly the same as netflix Canada. Its got some different shows and movies that you will go through in a month
>>
>>67101457
Canada is actually pretty poorly run. They've managed to ignore it by sheer power of memes, but it's true.

Deal with it Canucks, or more likely retarded self hating Mericuck, you're shit.
>>
On the other hand, Canadians get access to many great original Canadian shows like
>>
>>67101189
Different companies own movies in different countries. Some distribution contracts don't cover international streaming. Seeing as America is the largest audience, they obviously have priority.

Take a good look at Canada and see how it's failed to ever rise, and how it's fallen even farther than where it started.

My guess is that they either cut out more Non Canadian releases in order to keep up with that retarded media mandate wherein a certain percentage of media has to be of Canadian origin.

I don't know if that applies to Netflix, but I wouldn't be surprised.

How can you claim to have your own culture when you have to forcibly create it?
>>
>>67102073
Can't wait for the new wave of libs to flood Canada and you shitty Canadian fucks get even more enriched.
Hope you like Jews and Jew accessories.
>>
>>67102073
How, because we only have meme candidates running for President?

You have a meme man Head of state too, and you didn't even get to elect him.

At least we get our choice of retard, granted, not really, with the electoral college, but at least we get the illusion of choice.

They won't let them in anymore because of the expensive free health care system in Canada.
