Can Marvel be stopped?
>>
When RDJ leaves
>>
>>67088736

What are these numbers? Batman is the biggest movie super hero. Broke a billion without any cinematic universe gimmick.
>>
>>67088790
Cinematic Universe earnings
>>
>>67088779
Everyone's getting tired of RDJ and they are all going for Evans.
As it should be.
>>
>>67088790
i'm not arguing with OP's point since Marvel has been dominating both BO and merchandise ever since disney warbucks bought them. But yeah, the fuck are these numbers from?
>>
>>67088790
Merchandise wise is Spiderman, and that's where Disney gets most of it's money, about 40 billion every year.

Also, those numbers are from the movies.
>>
>>67088736

Now that they're in Disney's pocket? Not a chance.
>>
>>67088829
this is a weak argument. The Bale batman series alone brought in over a billion. Marvel is kicking DC's ass regardless but no need to dilute the evidence.
>>
>>67088736
<<<<Marvel Killer
>>
>>67088829

So
2 Avengers movies
3 Iron Man movies
2 Thor movies
2 Cap America movies
1 Hulk movie
1 Antman movie

vs

1 Superman movie
?
>>
>>67089109
so 11 vs 1, with DC's one being at worst it's 2nd best franchise. Meanwhile the eleven is made up of several b-team heroes. I know this will trigger someone, but if you multiply DC's revenue by eleven it still falls well short of what Marvel's built. Factor in the consistent semi-annual release of fresh merchandise and it just gets embarrassing.
>>
>>67089517
>Iron Man
>Captain America

>B Team

The fuck?
>>
>>67089567
>several
>all
>same thing
>>
>>67088736
I'm done with this board... why would you make a thread about this. Please go jump off a cliff

Only good marvel film is the first avenger
>>
>>67088856
that's why, when the second trailer came out, the hashtag #teamironman was trending topic number one worldwide for hours, meanwhile #teamcap was not even in the top ten list?
>>
>>67089693
Because twitter is for 12-16 year old fsggots and even older bigger faggots
>>
>>67089763
.... and how can you messure that Evans is now more popular than RDJ? Evans still gets less paid too even when it's Captain Americas movie lel
>>
>>67089567
Actually, before the 1st Iron Man released a half century ago, lot's of people wondered how a "B level" superhero movie would do (compared to Spider-Man, X-Men, Batman, etc).

It obviously did so well that Iron Man is now A grade.
>>
>>67089605

First Iron Man > First Avengers
>>
>>67088936
>The Bale batman series alone brought in over a billion

So did one (1) Avengers movie.
>>
>>67089567

Yes both of those hero's B list. Before the movies when was anyone talking about those comics? ever?

The Hulk is by FAR more known, and Spiderman is Marvels #1.

The Avengers are the B squad big time, most people know the justice league, but pre-marvel movies I bet no normie could ever name an avenger.

Not until the masses get taste.

>Not even 1 Billion
>>
>>67089883

Winter Soldier > Iron Man III > Ant-Man > The Avengers > Iron Man II > Age of Ultron > The First Avenger > Iron Man > Thor > Thor II

This is actually the correct ranking, I double checked. No need to post any additional rankings.
>>
>>67090074
>no GOTG
>no Incredible Hulk
>>
>>67090074
well you got winter soldier right at least.
>>
>>67090006

DK did over a billion
>>
>>67088736
Pic is bullshit

The Nolan trilogy did 2.4 billion

The Burton movies did 680M 25 years ago (around 1.2bn adjusted for inflation)

The Schumacher movies did 570M 20 years ago (around 860M adjusted for inflation)

Superman 78 did 300M (1.1 Bn adjusted)
>>
The comparison is pointless because either way:

a) Warner Bros has been making DC movies for decades

b) The WB/DC universe only has a single film so far

c) Company wars are retarded
>>
>>67091109
>5.6 billion over 38 years vs 9 billion in 8.
Gonna be honest with you anon. This still makes them look like fuckups.
>>
>>67090074

Iron Man 3 has the best theme song, I'll give you that.

Were you born in 2008?

Clown
>>
>>67090006
DK and TDKR both brought in over a billion each. You are talking to someone who doesn't really know what he is arguing.
>>
>>67088829
Are you seriously comparing a cinematic universe that started in 2008 to one that "started" in 2013, not even knowing if they would even make it a cinematic universe at all?
