What film there's nothing there

It's good as a ridiculous, almost tongue-in-cheek exercise in tension. Very good. The acting as well. But, It's not actually about much, lacks any sort of depth or critical purchase.

Well acted, well presented and the story had a nice flow. Visually it was better than I expected as well, some really nice shots snuck in there

I also think it's an important story that needed to be heard by today's young audience
We seem to alright with mediocrity today, constantly consumed with distraction and "down time"
But this movie showed us what it really takes to be one of the absolute greatest and the sacrifices it takes to get there.

I hear you, but the best at what, being an insanely well practiced automaton? Because he wasn't learning how to become a complete, creative, improvisational musician, jazz or otherwise. I liked it, yeah, his drive drove the movie, but it didnt say much imo. Just more kinda fun, tense, rthymically directed, jk chewing scenery, which is great.

but to add more depth into a character, one which was already pretty well rounded while also showing development, would ask for considerate additional screentime, which this movie certainly didn't need.
