I think part 7 had the most attention to detail. They factored in all the damage that Jason had taken in previous movies and made him look friggin badass. Part 6 and the 2009 reboot are my two favorites overall.

To explain, 5 I know gets bashed for not actually being Jason, I don't give a fuck, what we got was plenty menacing while in mask, film had tons of kills, tons of babes (including best babe of the series), great final chase in the rain.
Jason goes to hell was certainly not a traditional f13 film but its a damn good body swapping film, probably the most mature well acted cast of the series, tons of gore and a fantastic opening.

Part 3 mask was meh
4 was great, Had a lot of character to it, The axe mark was a great touch
5 wasn't that great, the imposter Jason was kind of interesting though
6 is classic Jason perfected
7 is interesting, Missing part of the face was a good idea
8 is bullshit, They fixed the face but not the axe slash, Mask looks great though, The color was a little green and Jason looked great in this movie
9 mask is weird, It's squishes the fuck out of his face and it really looks unnatural. Showed a lot of wear and tear though and brought back the face being fucked up. Great mask
X is terrible
