I don't think I ever watched it for that sort of reason. I enjoyed the characters, and how they played off one another. Honestly, the action, despite being a prime portion of the movie, never really was what made it good.

2 had a chance to be good, but after the things I read, the good ideas got buried or hacked to pieces. Stranger yet, I hear the good stuff actually made it to editing, it was, apparently, a very different movie until it was cut up and reshot to death.
