I saw Anomalisa earlier today and jesus it blew me away. I still feel like there's a lot I didn't pickup on but still wow what an intriguing examination of the human condition, there should be more films like this. How does /tv/ feel about Anomalisa?

Same with Kaufman's other movies, it's a lot of overly obvious self projection. I know that's essentially what art is but Kaufman's works seem too personal to really be films. Like, they're well made and all but I feel like the subject matter and the specific symbolism he repeatedly uses are too obviously his own perception.
He's got a weird fetish for wiping one's ass and getting cucked hard and that seems to be his philosophy on life.
