Why is capeshit getting stickied? I thought we were finally going past this retarded capeshit stage? How much longer must that cancer remain inflicted on this board?
>>66904484
It's either a sticky or 20 threads up at once like we had for Star Wars back in December/January.
>>66904534
Or a mod does his job and deletes threads getting spammed about the same topic.
Disney will kill this board. When it's not Star Wars posted around the clock, it's fucking capeshit. It's become a magnet to awful movies.

I honestly don't know why we don't have a /tvg/ board yet. /tv/ is easily a fast enough board that it would work.

>h-hey everyone
Goddamnit, looks like we're going 0/3. We're never getting a good Peter Parker.
>>66904900
>anons I've argued with about filmmaking, FNW and screenwriting are actually capeshit fans IRL
This board is dying, for the past few months the amount of capeshit has been steadily increasing and at this point it has mostly taken over the board. 90% of threads are capeshit or redditcore tv shows like GoT or TWD

>I thought we were finally going past this retarded capeshit stage?
No, it's just we had the iatus when no cape movies came out.
>>66904984
Let's be honest, did /tv/ ever actually seriously discuss film? I've been here since the summer of 2011 and back then people were posting set photos of The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers and complaining. Same shit different day.

>I've been here since the summer of 2011
newfag plz
>>66905310
Doesn't answer my question. As far as I'm aware, "classic" /tv/ was primarily known as the "creepy pedo board".
>>66905365
It was, but the film discussion was actually a lot better as well. Basically the creepy faggots talking about little girls were also the same people discussing movies and shows like Lost. Once the moderators cracked down, the original community left. So yes, you got rid of most of the waifu threads and "creepy" posts, but you also lost the community /tv/ had spent years cultivating. Then Bane hit, and now /tv/ is none but a dumping ground for memes and crossposters from other sites.
TL;DR - Yeah, the film discussion used to be really good. '09-'10 especially. This place was great.

Bane porn got stickied once, stop being so boring
>>66904647
We need (or rather "them") a dedicated Disney board. /dsn/ or some shit.
>>66905365
Yeah /tv/ used to be much better. Stupid one-liner posts were even frowned upon. Then Bane and capeshit happened and its demise was set in stone. It definitely used to be better.
