ITT: Movies your really want to be good, but they just aren't
>>66868221
Pretty much all movies, anon.
>>66868221
I still enjoyed it. It's solid B-movie tier.
O Brother Where Art Though
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers.
It's so fucking average compared to the others. Not the same level at all.
>>66868221
Bonded with my pappy over this movie.
>>66868866
But anon, that movie istop-tier
>helicopters fighting dragons on the poster
>not ONE helicopter versus dragon fight
Some solid dragon designs tho. Way better than Smaug, almost as good as Vermithrax.
>>66868221
Wow, how did you remember this movie?
I kind of liked it
>>66868918
>Vermithrax
And now I have to watch Dragonslayer again.
>>66868221
great universe, great atmosphere, decent acting and an original story developement
solid 8/10 familia
>>66868918
I thought they ran out of budget when they cast the stars and had to re-write 90% of it.
I liked it, but nobody else does.
>>66868221
I loved how they made the most badass character a George Patton-type American, but other than that the movie was a bore.
>>66869096
Jesus Christ bless this movie.
>>66868221
I never could understand how they could fly that helicopter around without drawing in dragons.
Also those loud tanks. It wasn't bad.
>>66869096
It's fun, but has a cheap and cheesy plot. Great visuals of course, and Jude Law goes between unintentionally hilarious and serious acting. I'd still recommend this movie, but it makes sense why nobody likes it.
>>66869096
I love this film so much
>>66869096
I was really sick when I saw this movie so I thought I was having a fever dream the whole time.
>>66869096
I do. I'd even rank it among my three favourite Cronenberg films.
So is this a guilty pleasures kind of thread?
>>66869988
that was just boring and worthless in every conceivable way. Woody Harrelson tries his best to inject life into it but it really doesn't work. I watched Black Mass last year and it had a lot of the same problems. The director is shit.
>>66870085
Agreed. I was very dissapointed un Black Mass.
>>66868221
Prometheus
>>66869557
it's literally the opposite.
>>66870172
I was trying to avoid posting this, but yes. I wanted it to be good so badly, but god did this let me down. Not even a guilty pleasure.
>>66870172
I like Prometheus.
>>66869096
I fucking love that movie. I watch it whenever it is on.
