Just keep it off Earth and make it a sci-fi adventure with F4 going in wacky space adventures.
Kind of like Guardians of the Galaxy.

Cast does not really matter as long as the chosen actors can act and the script/director is competent.
IMO it should be a low key superhero flick, with members already established and going their separate ways (minus reed/sue). Origin told in short flash back. Doom is a central point (he's magic based and already established) and request the four to accompany him on a scientific endeavor.
