M8, I don't even think Avatar 2 will beat Avatar's box office
It'll be fun looking at all the nods to other quests/areas.

>Implying casuals know the Warcraft games even exist
>>66854431
So by that logic, why didn't LotR flop, when the books were made half a century ago?
>>66854381
Orcs are fleeing from their dying homeworld into the homeworld, where they can have new home.
Two Worlds = Orcs and Humans, One Home = Azeroth
>>66854652
>It means outland never existed
What are you even on about? Do you even know any Warcraft lore?
>>66855605
Indeed
>>66857479
He's probably a WC3/Wrath baby.
>flick ends
>before credits roll
>Dedicated to my loving father David Bowie - Zowie Bowie
>>66857965
... dude, not cool.
>>66854625
Ahahahahahahahahahhahaha
hopefully it will, because the wc3 storylines are epic, but this movie will be kind of simple, in order to introduce people to the lore. if it does very well we might get an arthas movie, an illidan movie and so on
>>66857234
Because LOTR was one of the most popular books of the 20th century, the majority of the general audience only knows Warcraft as "that game those lazy fat guys play".
>>66858575
Except nobody except hardcore fantasy nerds knew about the Tolkein's work. It didn't become as popular as it did when the movie came out, and even before people were complaining it's gonna flop before release. Then everybody started jumping the bandwagon, how they always liked it and knew about it before it was a movie.
never
>>66858866
>nobody but hardcore fantasy fans knew about Tolkien's work
That's just not true. LOTR has sold 150 million copies in the last 60 years, 100 of which were sold before the movies came out. It's often considered one of the best selling books of all time, and you think only the most hardcore fantasy nerds knew about it?
>>66859157
Yes, over the course of 60 years.
>>66860039
which is pretty impressive. nobody will know what twilight or harry potter was in 60 years from now
>>66860192
No, but everyone will know about Warcraft because of how succesful it will be
>>66860365
i really hope so. i want to see arthas on screen one day. and stratholme burning.
>>66860413
Although I wonder how will they show the massacre of civilians.
>>66860365
Oh it's you. Can we please stop comparing this to LotR? It's going to be nowhere near the quality of LOTR.
>>66861364
why you wonder? there are many zombie movies where the gov shoots its civilians trying to stop the virus.
>>66861526
The other guy started it when he said that Warcraft movie won't succeed, because it been crated in are where WoW has gone past its prime, which it nonsensical as hell.
